Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the access to and use of UGMail services, infrastructure, platforms, communication systems, applications, and related technologies operated by Universal Grid SMC Ltd. By accessing or using any UGMail services, you agree to comply with this AUP and all applicable laws and regulations.

You must use the Services only for lawful, authorized, legitimate, ethical, and professional purposes. You must not use the Services in any manner that violates any applicable law, threatens infrastructure stability, interferes with normal operations, harms other Users or third parties, damages UGMail's reputation, or circumvents security controls.

You must not use the Services to transmit, distribute, or facilitate spam or unsolicited bulk communications of any kind, including: sending unsolicited commercial email, using purchased or scraped mailing lists, operating unauthorized mailing campaigns, sending deceptive communications, or operating spam networks or open relays. You must maintain lawful consent for all communications and honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

You must not use the Services to engage in fraudulent or deceptive communication practices, including phishing attacks, credential harvesting, identity impersonation, fake invoices or payment requests, financial fraud schemes, social engineering attacks, deceptive domain usage, or email spoofing intended to defraud or mislead recipients.

You must not distribute, transmit, store, or facilitate malicious software or harmful code through the Services, including viruses, ransomware, trojan software, spyware, keyloggers, worms, malicious scripts or macros, harmful attachments, or unauthorized executable payloads.

You must not use the Services for any unlawful activities, including cybercrime or hacking, unauthorized access to systems or data, financial crimes, identity theft, fraudulent commerce, distribution of illegal materials, violations of sanctions or export control laws, or unlawful surveillance or interception of communications.

You must not abuse, overload, disrupt, or interfere with UGMail's infrastructure, including excessive automated activity, operating unauthorized SMTP relays, bulk resource consumption that degrades service for others, circumventing service limitations, unauthorized network scanning, attempts to disrupt service, or activities that negatively affect email deliverability, IP reputation, or domain reputation.

Enforcement actions may include informal or formal warnings, rate limiting or throttling, temporary suspension of specific features or Services, permanent termination of accounts or services, blocking or blacklisting of domains, IPs, or mailboxes, removal or quarantine of content, preservation of evidence for legal purposes, reporting of activities to relevant authorities, or initiation of legal action. Where necessary to protect infrastructure, operations, security, or other Users, UGMail may take enforcement actions without prior notice.
