MasterID allows you to invite team members to your workspace and assign them specific roles. This controls what each person can see and do within your MasterID account.
Accessing User Management
Go to More in the bottom navigation bar, then tap User Management. You'll see two tabs:
Workspace Users — all users currently in your workspace, their roles, and their status
Roles & Permissions — a breakdown of what each role can do
User Roles
MasterID has four roles:
Owner — full access to all features, settings, billing, and user management. There is one Owner per account.
Administrator — can manage users, run verifications, access reports, and configure settings, but cannot transfer ownership or delete the account.
Verifier — can create and run verification sessions. Cannot manage users, access billing, or change settings.
Viewer — read-only access to verification history and reports. Cannot run sessions or make changes.
Adding a New User
Tap + Add User in the top right of the User Management screen.
Enter the new user's details (full name, email address).
Select the role to assign them.
Save. The user will receive an invitation to join your workspace.
Suspending or Editing a User
Each user row has an Actions dropdown. From there you can edit a user's role, suspend their access, or remove them from the workspace. Suspended users cannot sign in but their history is retained. You can reactivate a suspended user at any time.
User Status
Active (green) — the user can sign in and use MasterID according to their role
Suspended (red) — the user's access has been disabled. They cannot sign in until reactivated.
All user management actions are recorded in Activity Logs, including who added, edited, or suspended each user.
